Antalya
The Touristic centre of Turkey, this largest harbour city with its exotic atmosphere has a great attraction for tourists. The old harbour in the city received the international restaration award and has been turned into a wonderful holiday site. THe town is unique in that one can do winter sports in the two hills of 45 minutes distance form the centre, then can swim in the sea down below. Antalya is also a region of water falls.
The Düden waterfalls almost within the city is a historical site as well as recration centre. The outlet as well as the mouth of Düden flowing into the sea is of interest. Kurşunlu is another waterfall of Antalya
The Beş Konak region as well as the canyon on the Korkuteli road are rafting areas that have become internationally well know. The Kemer region of Antalya with its holiday restorts has become a holiday centre. In the city one can find the best hotels of international fame. In Kemer the road winds through a road with pine woods on either side.
