Cleopatra’s Bech (Sedir Adası)
Turning in form the 12th km of the Marmaris-Muğla highway takes one down to a small barbour. From here one can take a boat to the Sedir ısland where there is a theatre and Cleopatra’s beach with its very special sand.
It is saidtahat Mark Antaonius had this unique sand brought here from Africa, specially for Cleopatra. It is forbidden to carry the sand, round in shape and sticking to the body like a stamp, out of the island an it is also forbidden for boats to anchor in the beach region.
