Dalyan Hotel
The location is fantastic: set alone on a tongue of land jutting out into the Dalyan river directly opposite the Lycian royal tombs. River boats sail past all day long, swishing by the reeds at the edge of the garden. The pool is surrounded by the river on three sides, forming a magic enclosure far removed from the town’s rush and bustle. The rooms are small and rather spartan. But then, you are likely to spend much of the day ouside-idling away by the pool, taking liquid refreshment at the riverside bar, or riding the hotel boat for a leisurely sail down the river. A predominantly English and Belgian clientele continue to enjoy Dalyan Hotel into , its thirteenth year.
