Phaselis
A great martime trade centre with two harbours one military the other commercial, founded on the forest peninsula beneath the Ak mountain. The city founded in B.C. 690 by immigrants from Rhoes, was the centre of trade in the region where all kinds of googds were exchanged.
The city fell to the pirates in the first millenium and qas later used azs a military base By Byzantium. Ancient ruins attract the tourists now and the site which is now under protection can bse reached by a nice road that goes down to the shore
