Pigeon Island (Güvercin Adası)
The island in front of the harbour which gave its name to the town opposite is called the Little Island (Küçük Ada).
On the island which was annexed to the Maccedonian Kingdom durin the era of Alexander The Great has a small citadel built in the Byzantine times in order to keep an eye on the surrounding area. Visitors to Kuşadası together with the Davutlar, also visit this island.
